Dr. Ambrose is the man and the vision behind Performance Medical Clinic. A board-certified Medical Doctor and Chiropractor specializing in Internal Medicine, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Medical Weight Loss, and Longevity Medicine. His mission in life is to make his patients feel better and allow them to live happier healthier lives.

Dr. Ambrose had the pleasure of growing up in the metro east area and started his career as a chiropractor. Graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, he practiced for two years as a Chiropractor before he decided to go back to Medical School. Dr. Ambrose completed medical school and ultimately an Internal Medicine Residency at Southern Illinois University. After residency, Dr. Ambrose entered practice as an Internal Medicine physician but realized that something was missing in the healthcare system. This led him to expand his scope of practice to address his patient’s concerns in a more holistic, integrative approach. For this reason he received additional training in pain management, anti-aging medicine, stem cell therapy, regenerative medicine, and hormone replacement therapy, as he feels that these are critical to addressing the whole patient. When he is not spending time with his wife and four beautiful children, he can usually be found deer hunting in the woods.
